Cookbooks $1.00. We still have hundreds of cookbooks left from our big cookbook event last spring. And now they are all priced at $1.00 each. Some great titles available, hard back and paper. They all must go to make room for our next special sale. So come on down to the store while they last. Tasty!

Seems to be the season of the bamboo bar donations. Delightful.

The new one we have is not quite as perfect as the one we just sold (and is still pictured) but still very cool and also comes with three stools. The stools, same design as the ones pictured, are in need of recovering. This bar set is only $325.00 so it probably won’t last long.

We also still have, in our summertime bamboo collection, side chairs ($48 each) and the love seat ($415.) all from the Philippines circa 1940, a magazine rack ($35.) and a side table ($65.)

Just in Time for a frosty summertime cocktail!

Calabash, Food For Thought’s annual celebration of Gourd art, garden and good food, is coming October 3rd. For more information and links to the latest in gourd art go to Food For Thought’s website www.fftfoodbank.org

Auction Success

The Food For Thought Auction was a terrific success. The main showroom at the old Pelinni’s Chevrolet dealership (thank you to the Pelinni family!) was filled with the donated treasures and auction bidders on Sunday August 15th. With spirited enthusiasm we auctioned off everything from 2000 year old clay figures to mid-century furniture. Final figures aren’t in but by all accounts it was a very successful auction.

A few pieces did not sell and those have gone back to Food For Thought’s antique store FFT Antiques. If you have any questions or thoughts about what might still be available please give us a call at 707-823-3101 or contact us through this website.
